Im looking forward to checking out some of the suggested movies. Over the weekend I saw two more Film movement movies. I check them out from the library (you cant beat free movies).

The Forest for the Trees is German with English Subtitles and I thought it was great. My husband felt it was slow, but it matched the mood of the film in my opinion. It is about a young woman who leaves home to become a teacher. She struggles with Loneliness and has very poor social skills, and is having a horrible time adjusting to her new environment, so she clings to her next door neighbor hoping to establish a friendship. It is very realistic and I found meaning in the title, so if you have some time to spare You should check it out.

Familia is Canadian with English Subtitles
I has a good story line, that makes you think about family. The two families depicted are in need of therapy, but it was easy to follow. There was one graphic scene that was unexpected and unnecessary, but other than that it was ok. It was about a mother who is addicted to gambling and her relationship with her daughter, and an overprotective mother and her marital problems.

Im in the mood for a non subtitle movie...any suggestions?
